The Renovators is a musical collective operating out of a shed in Brooklyn VIC. They have been meeting on Wednesday nights for close on two decades.

Between 1999 and 2007 The Renovators released a series of albums produced by Hamish Marr that charted their weekly musical adventures. Tracks from these albums found their way onto such feature films as Sarah Watts’ ‘My Year Without Sex’ (2009) and Rachel Lucas’ ‘Bondi Tsunami’ (2004). The Renovators music was also featured in Andrew Kidman’s DVD surf extravaganza ‘Believe’ (2007).

While the band continue to draw on the sound of The Renovators past, the arrival of Clear Spacemen/Acuff’s Rose frontman Jeff Williams in 2011 introduced stream of consciousness vocals & his electric piano playing to the equation, resulting in these fully formed songs straight from the creative ether.

Feel The Unknown Vol. I is the first Fluid Rock chapter in The Renovators ongoing epic rock novel.
